A Red River Romance ... A Red River Nightmare ... Seeing Red ... Makin' do and Folkloric Short Stories
My public speaking began when I delivered a paper to the Texas Folklore Society's 83rd Annual Meeting in Midland, Texas — April 1-3, 1999 Session 2:“Wildwood” Dean Price (Bonham)“Survival Value in Fannin County, Texas -Then and Now.”
Since that day when I was thrust into the spotlight I have given many presentations hundreds of times.
SOME OF MY MOST MEMORABLE
The Red River County, Lamar County, Franklin County and Fannin County Genealogy Societies and the Franklin County Historical Society.
Museums where I have given programs are Red River Historical Museum, Fannin County Museum of History and the Three Valleys Museum.
Other programs include the Creative Arts Center, Friendship clubs, Retired Teachers meetings, Book clubs and civic organizations.
I have also participated in many fund raisers and special celebrations.
