These are neat little toys, made from a large wooden sewing thread spool. Notch the ends of the spool to give the tractor some traction, and then thread a rubber band through the center hole. Place a spent kitchen match in the hole on one end of the spool and cut a little notch for the match stick to rest in. Put a wooden pencil into the rubber band on the other end and rub that end of the spool with a bar of soap. Now wind the rubber band with the pencil and turn her loose. Caution, don't wind too tight.
