I went all out to put this PowerPoint program together. I considered giving a program to the TEXAS STATE HISTORICAL Association the ultimate lecturer of my career.
I spent a week gathering the necessary materials from nature, and putting together the things I would need to recreate the toys of my youth and then headed to Mississippi. A week there with my grandkids building toys put me in the frame of mind to give the lecture.
The 2010 annual meeting of the TSHA finally arrived. My program was a huge success.
