My dogwood hoop furniture designs and my designing abilities caught the eye of Susan Crane, Inc. a company that furnished accent decorator items to the visual merchandising market. Their customers were upscale retail chain stores and the movie production industry. They started buying Wildwood designs from me and having me design special pieces to take to their semi-annual trade show in the New York World Trade Center. Neiman Marcus commissioned me to build interior walls for their showroom at the Dallas Arboretum for the "Christmas at the Arboretum show." They kept coming back for more. I designed chandeliers for the downtown Dallas store for their 90th anniversary celebration. They converted the 5th floor into a barn and put on a play titled "90 years in Dallas." Macy's Department Stores wanted French flower carts for all their stores and I obliged. I'm swamped, I need to hire some help ... I need some canoes.
