I bought two big chucks of Styrofoam, identical in size and big enough to float a 4-wheeler. It took Wilkerson Machine Shop and me one whole weekend to build a cage on my new Honda Foreman 4-wheeler and mount the Styrofoam chunks onto it. We built a transom for a little 3 horse power, Sears Game Fisher boat motor, and I was in business. I headed to Red River with my new rig for its maiden voyage. When I got to Red River I drove her down the bank, across the sandbar and stopped at the edge of the water. My heart raced! Wildly is putting it mildly. If she sinks she belongs to Red River ... If she floats she is my dream machine!
