ClickySticks are straight and have a groove near the center. The groove allows the sticks to pivot around the finger, and makes them more easily played than traditional bones. They have 2 striking points. Complex rhythms that here-to-forth haven’t been possible with traditional bones are easily mastered. Iwas encouraged to file for a patent after discovering my invention was a completely new percussion musical instrument. ClickySticks qualify for listing in the Hornbostel-Sachs system of Musical Instruments as Idiophones. They had not been patented before, and was exceptionally easy for anyone to learn to play, regardless of their musical abilities. I was issued patent pending number 61404945101210, October 12, 2010.
